At the turn of the twentieth century,elaborate Jewish New Year cards took America by storm. In a mix of old and new,we’ve reproduced antique holiday cards from our Harry and Bernice Kramer Collection and brought them into the internet age. Just click on the link below,add your own message,and send free Yiddish e-cards to anyone on your address list.

Join us for Members Day on October 13 during our annual Sweet Harvest Festival,a community simkhe celebrating Sukkes with activities for all ages including crafts,music,folk dancing,storytelling,lulav shakes,and a poetry slam. Bring a picnic lunch or purchase delicious kosher food onsite,take a guided tour of the Yiddish Book Repository,and hear an update on the Book Center from founder and president Aaron Lansky. This program is free to Book Center members. No need to register — just stop by!
